Man in court over pensioner’s killing

A MAN has appeared in court charged with the murder of a pensioner Khayrun Nessa at her home in East London. He is 31-year-old Nasir Uddin, who appeared before Highbury magistrates on Saturday (Aug 16) charged with killing 70-year-old Kayrun at her three-bedroom terraced house in Byng-street in Millwall, on the Isle of Dogs, late last Tuesday night (August 12)

A MAN has appeared in court charged with the murder of a pensioner Khayrun Nessa at her home in London's East End.

He is 31-year-old Nasir Uddin, who appeared before Highbury magistrates on Saturday (Aug 16) charged with killing 70-year-old Kayrun at her three-bedroom terraced house in Byng-street in Millwall, on the Isle of Dogs, late last Tuesday night (August 12).

He was remanded in custody by magistrates.

A post mortem at Poplar mortuary on Wednesday (August 13) gave cause of death as stab wounds.
