A man in his 30s was taken to hospital after he was hit by a car in Isle of Dogs this morning.
Emergency services were called to Westferry Road at 8.39am, following reports of a car colliding with a pedestrian.
The man was taken to an East London hospital by London Ambulance Service with possible life-changing injuries.
The driver stopped at the scene and is assisting officers with their investigation.
No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
