A MAN was killed and a second is badly injured in hospital after their BMW smashed into the wall of a pub in East London early this morning (Monday).
Emergency services arriving at the crash at The Bell public-house in Forest Road, Walthamstow, at 4.40am found a 20-year-old dead at the scene.
His companion has been taken to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel, believed to have suffered a fracture to the spine and is said to be in a serious but stable condition.
Accident investigators don’t yet know who was driving the car. Police are appealing for anyone who was in Forest Road at 4.40pm who may have seen the silver BMW 328i plough into the pub to contact the investigation unit at Chadwell Heath on 020-8597 4874. No other vehicle was involved.
