A CYCLIST punched a man and stole his wallet as he walked in Poplar last Saturday evening.
The 31-year-old victim had just got off a bus at Chrisp Street Market at 10.45pm and was attacked by a man on a push bike in Willis Street who punched him in the shoulder and stole his wallet.
The man was punched several times and only managed to escape when a bystander came to help.
The suspect is described as a white male aged between 20 and 21years, clean shaven with brown hair. He was of medium build, wearing a white t-shirt and riding a black pedal cycle.
