AN all party meeting has been arranged for the lesbian and gay community in Tower Hamlets to discuss any concerns they may have following reports of attacks in Shoreditch.
Last year a young man was left paralysed after an attack near a gay pub in Shoreditch and police called a meeting earlier this summer to urge members of the gay community to report any incidents them.
The meeting starts at7.30pm at the Joiners Arms in Hackney Road on Thursday October 1 has been called by Tower Hamlets Liberal Democrat leader Stephanie Eaton together with licensee Dave Pollard to raise issues concerning the gay community.
Politicians from other parties and police will be there along with a representative from electoral services to encourage people to register to vote in the run up to the next election.
