Former Monty Python star Michael Palin took time out from his travels last week to sign copies of his new book in Canary Wharf.
The intrepid explorer recently released a book on Brazil, coinciding with his latest television series which sees him focus on the country at a remarkable time in its history, as it prepares for the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympic Games.
Hundreds of fans flocked to Waterstones in Jubilee Place to catch a glimpse of the 69-year-old, who is one of the UK’s most treasured TV personalities.
