Ceramic sculptures inspired by Middle Eastern architecture will be on show in Canary Wharf this summer.
The works of Halima Cassell “reflect her Islamic heritage” through the use of clay and bronze.
They will be displayed in Canada Square throughout July and August.
Curator Ann Elliott said: “Since 2010 Halima Cassell has been making a series of vessels of similar dimensions using clays from different countries around the world.
“For this exhibition at Canary Wharf she has added seven to their number to make a total of thirty. Each is a different colour, a different texture, and they are displayed in linear colour sequence from almost white to dark grey.”
