Mile End Park’s annual fair, Park Life, is expected to draw a crowd of 2000 people next month, and aims to strengthen ties within the community.
The free event has been organised by Friends of Mile End Park, and will be open to people of all ages.
Attractions will include jewellery-making and the ‘Dogolymplicks’, which will feature categories such as owner look-a-likes and Olympic-themed fancy dress.
There will also be gardening workshops hosted by the London Wildlife Trust, as well as T-shirt printing and trampolining.
The fair will be held on Sunday July 8 from 12-5pm.
