A MILLWALL footballer was showing his support for sick youngsters when he dropped into the East End for a cuppa.
Lions' striker Neil Harris visited Stevenson House in Ashfield Street in Whitechapel last week which provides a place for parents to stay while their children are treated at the nearby Royal London Hospital.
The football player was giving a boost to the latest campaign the Big Chocolate Tea Party which is raising money for the `Home from Home' which costs 87,000 to stay open every year.
And he enjoyed a cup of tea and some chocolate cake with 16-year-old Jonny Hatchman whose parents Trudy and John stayed at the house while he was treated for Chron's Disease at the Royal London.
The house which is run by the Sick Children's Trust is one of seven 'Home from Homes' in the UK and relies entirely on voluntary donations.
