COMMUNITIES Minister Sadiq Khan dropped into the East London Mosque at Whitechapel to officially open its library today.
He is pictured this morning meeting Baroness Pola Uddin, Umm Latif and Mahera Ruby in the library which specialises in Islamic books in English, Arabic and community languages.
The minister toured the Islamic centre to see projects and services before speaking 70 East End Muslim community leaders, when he was welcomed by the mosque secretary Ayub Khan.
