A 16-year-old who went missing from his home in Shadwell has returned to his home safely.

Tahar Hussen had left his home in Dellow Street on January 18 to go to work in a restaurant with a group of older friends, but stopped responding to his family’s calls and text messages.

After becoming increasingly worried about his safety they reported him missing last Thursday.

But police confirmed today that he returned this morning.
