A Poplar woman who was missing for almost five months has been found safe and well after attending Limehouse police station.
Coli Begum, 24, also known as Poli Begum, went missing from the Poplar area on November 28 last year leading police to issue an appeal last month as they became increasingly concerned about for welfare.
But last Thursday she attended the police station, bringing to an end the investigation by Tower Hamlets Missing Person Unit.
PC Paul Fairbairn of the unit said: “We are very grateful for the assistance given to publicise the missing person to a wider audience.”
