Police are appealing for help in locating a vulnerable autistic man missing during the night from east London.

Leon Lewis, 26, was last seen soon after midnight when he left his home in Homer Road in Hackney Wick, walking towards Victoria Park. He has not been seen since.

Officers are concerned for Leon’s safety as is described as severely autistic and would struggles to talk to people. He would be unable to find his way home. He also suffers from epilepsy and needs regular medication.

Leon is described as black, around 6ft tall with a slim build and was wearing grey pyjamas. Police are appealing to anyone with information about Leon’s whereabouts to call 101.
