Commuters are getting more seats on trains on the Fenchurch Street network through Essex and East London.
The new summer timetable from Monday (May 23) has almost 6,000 more seats each weekday, following completion of National Express C2C’s train refurbishment programme with trains repainted in new white livery with dark blue doors.
The programme now means C2C can run two extra four-carriage trains, as well as 21 more services each weekday with eight-carriages—the first starting from Monday on the line via Grays, which has the greatest passenger traffic.
