A PASSENGER riding pillion on a motorbike was killed in East London when the front wheel of the machine fell off.
The two riders slid along Hoxton Street in Shoreditch, hitting several pedestrians and a parked car in the early hours of Saturday.
The pillion passenger, a man in his 20s, was taken to the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel, but died shortly after. The motorcyclist is in a serious condition with leg injuries.
Two pedestrians were injurewd in the crash and treated for minor injuries, said police.
