A motorcyclist was hospitalised after a collision with a car yesterday evening.
Paramedics were called to the scene of the crash by the East London Mosque in Whitechapel Road at around 8pm on Tuesday evening.
A male motorcyclist was treated at the scene, and was conscious and breathing before being taken to the nearby Royal London Hospital for further care, the London Ambulance Service confirmed.
The accident caused congestion and delays along Whitechapel Road.
