MP HOPEFULS will be facing a grilling this week as campaigners demand answers over the future of education in Tower Hamlets.
Teachers and students will be putting their questions to a panel of prospective parliamentary candidates on Thursday night, including Respect councillor and Bethnal Green and Bow hopeful Abjol Miah.
Campaigners including members of the University and College Union have organised the Question Time event at the East London Mosque in Whitechapel to hear what the future could hold for education in the borough, including its adult classes.
And it comes after nearly a third of English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes in the borough were slashed last year.
The meeting will take place from 7-9pm and Labour's prospective parliamentary candidate for Bethnal Green and Bow Rushanari Ali has also been asked to be on the panel.
