Mudchute Farm received a £3,000 cash boost last week thanks to a donation from an 800-year-old livery company.
The Worshipful Company of Horners - one of the City of London’s oldest trade associations – made the donation in a bid to help the city farm continue its work with disabled and disadvantaged children.
The 32 acre farm on the Isle of Dogs runs a range of projects to engage with children from disadvantaged backgrounds through activities and interaction with its stock of more than 200 animals.
