CHILDREN from all over East London came to the first annual Agricultural Show hosted by Mudchute Park and Farm on Sunday to take part in a Farmyard Challenge and other fun activities.
The show included judging of small animals and home produce as well as a dog show. Farm volunteers took the opportunity to explain the services they offer to the community which include daily duck walks, after school programmes and day care, free entry to the park, and educational events throughout the year.
The staff at Mudchute had been planning for six weeks to make the show happen. They say they want next year’s show three times bigger and have already started planning it.
