Muggers steal cash in street attack

ROBBERS pushed a man to the ground and stole £145 in attack near Brick Lane in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The 45-year-old man was attacked by three men who pulled him onto the floor and searched his pockets in Code Street at 5.40am before running off with the cash.

Police have described the suspects as three black men. The first was around 6ft4ins tall and the second was around 5ft 11ins tall. Both were of stocky build and were wearing grey short-sleeved tops. The third man is described as shorter than the others.

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact PC Nens Corran in the robbery squad on 020 8217 3838 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
