Murder hunt after Lithuanian found in East London squat
DETECTIVES are appealing today for witnesses following the murder of a 25-year-old homeless Lithuanian in East London. The body of Paulius Riepsa (pictured) was found with head injuries by police at a house occupied by squatters at Carnarvon Road in Stratford
DETECTIVES are appealing today for witnesses following the murder of a 25-year-old homeless Lithuanian in East London.
The body of Paulius Riepsa (pictured) was found with head injuries by police at a house occupied by squatters at Carnarvon Road in Stratford at 6.50am on Saturday.
A post mortem at Walthamstow the next day gave the cause of death as head injury.
Anyone who has visited the property known to be used by Lithuanians or anyone with information about events which may have led to Paulius's death are being urged to contact the incident room on 020-8358 0200, or anonymously Crimestoppers on 0800-555111.

Three men have been arrested in connection with the investigation who remain in custody this week at an East London police station. A fourth has been released.
