A MURDER hunt has been launched in London's East End after a man was found battered in the street close to a hostel for homeless men.
The man was found in Old Montague Street in Whitechapel yesterday (Monday) following reports of a street fight, close to a Salvation Army centre for the homeless in Whitechapel Road.
He had severe head injuries and is understood to have died half-an-hour later.
