Murder investigation launched after 24-year-old man stabbed in Stepney

A murder investigation has been launched after a man was stabbed to death in Stepney over the weekend.
The victim, identified as Kowshar Hussain, 24, of Chudleigh Street, Limehouse was attacked on Master’s Street in the early hours of Saturday morning.
He was pronounced dead at an east London hospital and his net of kin have been informed.
A post-mortem was carried out yesterday and gave cause of death as stab injuries.
Detectives from the Homicide and Serious Crime Command are investigating under DCI Caroline Goode.

Two men were arrested yesterday in connection with the death and are in custody at south London police stations.
