An evening of mellow music will be provided at Bow Church on October 19 at 7.30pm.

The Bow Church choir and ensemble will perform a programme of British music inspired by Autumn to raise much-needed funds for the maintenance of their 700-year-old church building.

Those attending the performance will have the opportunity to enjoy a range of musical genres from the blues to madrigals and light opera. The programme features pieces by great British composers such as Gilbert & Sullivan, Purcell, Vaughan-Williams, Ireland and Walton.

Rev Debbie Frazer, Rector of Bow Church, said: “Bow Church has stood in the centre of Bow for more than 700 years. We want to welcome the community to this historic place of worship and entertain you with our latest concert celebrating Autumn and great British composers. We hope through ticket sales to raise vital funds to ensure the church building can continue to serve the community well into the future.”
