Mutts put through their paces at Mile End Park’s new doggy gym

A NEW dog gym in Mile End Park has turned out a treat for pets and their owners in the borough.

Tower Hamlets council hosted its first free dog agility session last month where pooches could try out agility poles, platforms at different heights to run along and equipment to jump through.

The session was so successful that it will be held every month, with the next session on January 15.

Volunteer Ken Greenway, who ran the session and who takes his dog Quinn to work at Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park, said: “You no longer just have the boring option of taking your dog for a walk - you can get them to try out something a bit more adventurous.”
