Housing association One Housing Group is hosting an apprentice fair aiming to help people into placements and training in a range of industries.

Catherine Kyne of One Housing Group said: “We want to raise awareness of employment opportunities and highlight the importance of apprenticeships and training.

“We want to provide young people with options and the opportunity to learn on the job whilst gaining a qualification and getting paid.”

The fair is being held at the Phoenix Heights Community Centre in Byng Street on the Isle of Dogs from 10am to 3pm.

Exhibitors include Skills Match, City Gateway and Jobwise training.
