Never pay another library late fee with new e-book collection
Avid East End readers are spoilt for choice as they can now download ebooks from libraries and read on the go.
Tower Hamlets Council belongs to the London Libraries Consortium - which gives library members access to more than six million items across the capital.
The electronic books can be read on an ebook reader or any PC or Mac.
The categories range from humour to mystery, biographies to non-fiction and there is also a selection of children’s novelists to choose from.
There’s no way of collecting any late fees should you forget to take the book back as the ebook automatically expires and is ‘returned’ to the library.
