What an idea for mobile library!

IDEAS stores have been replacing the traditional public libraries in London’s East End for the past five years. Now even the mobile library touring housing estates has switched to the newer brand’ image—by rebranding itself the mobile idea store’

REBRANDED Ideas stores’ have been replacing the traditional public libraries in London’s East End for the past five years.

Now even Tower Hamlets’ mobile library touring housing estates in isolated corners has switched to the newer brand’ image—by recycling itself as the mobile idea store.’

But the recycling’ doesn’t stop there. The large vehicle now touring the area since October is itself recycled.’

It was bought from Essex County Council and refitted with all mod-cons for the half the usual £150,000 cost of a mobile vehicle.

It also goes further than the old mobile library which just lent out books. This one also provides internet access and loans CDs.
