New lease of life for kids’ sports club with hall and theatre plans
A SPORTS club for youngsters celebrating its first anniversary in London’s East End has plans for a new hall and theatre. The Village Club at Shadwell’s Bishop Challoner Secondary school has been given a new lease of life as part of a �40m Learning Village’ revamp.

as part of a �40m Learning Village’ revamp.
The club is expected to have a dedicated building and all-weather sports pitches when the whole scheme is completed by the end of the year.

Youngsters will be able to try their hand during the school holidays at drama, DJing, table tennis and street dance. Staff also have plans for a performing arts course and coaching in trampoline and fencing.
