Trains running on the c2c line via Dagenham Dock and Rainham have been cancelled due to overhead wire damage.
Disruption to services between Fenchurch Street and Grays via those stations is expected to last into the evening rush hour.
Rail replacement bus services have been put in place between Barking and Grays, while tickets are also being accepted on TfL buses via any reasonable route, including the 287 from Barking to Rainham via Dagenham Dock, and the 372 from Rainham to Lakeside.
Tickets are also valid on Greater Anglia services.
Other branches of c2c are currently operating as normal.
