Noise, noise, noise—it never stops!
Dear Ed, MORE complaints about noises are being sent to the Noise Abatement Society from tenants here at Winterton House in Stepney. The sustained noise many residents here are forced to listen to include drivers in the local supermarket loading bay, even late at night
Dear Ed,
MORE complaints about noises are being sent to the Noise Abatement Society from tenants here at Winterton House in Stepney.
Noise weakens your immune system and raises blood pressure which can lead to heart attacks and strokes, even when we are asleep, I read on the internet.
The sustained noise many residents here are forced to listen to include drivers in the local supermarket loading bay, even late at night. Some drivers sound their horns in the trade entrance and leave their engines running in the loading bay. Some park outside doing this.
Last year I wrote to the supermarket's head office and have given up waiting for their reply.
The Environment Health does not seem bothered, as different noise does not constitute a 'nuisance'. Their attitude is the same regarding light pollution.
