Barts Health NHS Trust, which manages Newham University, Mile End and The Royal London hospitals, will be recognising staff and volunteers who have gone the extra mile to go above and beyond for patients and colleagues.

The Barts Heroes Awards Ceremony will take place next year and winners will receive £500 with £1,000 being given to victorious teams.

Staff and volunteers at the trust’s other hospitals Whipps Cross and St Bartholomew’s can also be nominated.

Entries will be judged by a panel of staff, patients and partners before shortlisted candidates and teams are invited to a celebratory lunch on February 13 where the winners will be announced.

The deadline for nominations is September 30.
