Olly Murs heads to Bow to sing doorstep carols

Everyone expects carol singers at this time of year but one Bow couple got more than they’d bargained for when they opened the door to chart-topper Olly Murs.

The X Factor star performed a couple of festive tunes for a stunned James Heath and his girlfriend Eve Hegarty at their home in Regent Square last week after they had entered a Christmas prize draw.

Barclaycard’s advent calendar competition on Facebook is giving away daily prizes which include free flights, a gift donation to a charity of choice or a chauffeur for the day.
