OLYMPIC host boroughs face a grilling tomorrow at City Hall over the long-term future of East London after the 2012 Games.

OLYMPIC host boroughs face a grilling tomorrow at City Hall over the long-term future of East London after the 2012 Games.

Newham Mayor, Sir Robin Wales, who is chair of the Five Borough Partnership Board which includes Tower Hamlets, will be questioned by Assembly members about how the Games are benefiting local people and what targets are being set.

He will be joined in the talks by Roger Taylor, director of the Host Boroughs Unit, and Richard Garlick, editor of Regeneration & Renewal magazine.

The London Assembly's Economic Development, Culture, Sport and Tourism Committee meet at 10am.
