Tickets for some of the first competitive test events for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games have gone on sale today.
Prices range from �5 to �35 for Mountain Bike, Beach Volleyball, Basketball and BMX events between July 31 and august 21,
London 2012 chairman Sebastian Coe said: “These events provide us with vital opportunities to test our venues, but also our staff, technologies and planning. They will also provide people with a fantastic opportunity to see some world class sport in these venues ahead of the Games – a snapshot of what is to come next year.
Tickets are on sale at www.ticketmaster.co.uk/londonpreparesseries using Visa (debit, credit and prepaid) cards only. Applications can also be made by calling 0844 248 5079. Tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis.
Organisers have confirmed 250 tickets for these events will be donated to schools in the six host boroughs,
