Tickets for the 2012 Games are like gold dust but from today people have the chance to resell any unwanted tickets for the Olympics or Paralympics.

Those who bought tickets directly from Games organiser Locog can submit their tickets on the 2012 ticketing website until 6pm on 3 February.

Others will then be able to purchase them online during the resale window.

If sold, the seller receives the full ticket face value but if the tickets remain unsold by February 3 they will be returned to the ticket holder’s account.

There will be a further chance to resell tickets from April 2012.
