The Olympics park is looking for a managing agent to look after community and events space.
The London Legacy Development Corporation wants a Food & Beverage agent responsible for attracting and maintaining operators in open spaces which could include pop-up bars, restaurants and food festivals in areas which won’t be immediately developed after the Games.
The corporation’s chief executive Andrew Altman said: “We want a mix of eateries that reflect east London and are as much an attraction as the venues, year-round events and open spaces.”
The 560-acre park will have two permanent cafs and four kiosks. But there is also scope for a floating restaurant on the Bow Back Rivers tributary of the Lea, a caf close to Stratford City shopping centre and food festivals as well as pop-up diners.
