Olympic athletes Steve Backley and Roger Black are addressing lunchtime ‘speed coaching’ sessions in East London next week to help workers boost their careers.
They are giving ‘motivational’ talks about how the principles of sporting success can be transferred into business achievement.
The free sessions are at Canary Wharf’s Jubilee Plaza on Wednesday (May 25) between 12 and 2pm, run by the Institute of Leadership & Management.
The institute’s chief executive Penny de Valk said: “Coaching must be the ‘norm’ for the majority in the workplace, rather than a select few leaders, to achieve competitive advantage and ensure staff are effective and efficient.”
The sessions give workers one-to-one coaching with qualified career experts on their job progress, development and future goals.
