Leyton Orient keeper Alex Cisak felt his side deserved more from their League One clash with Peterborough United after falling to a 1-0 defeat on Saturday.
Jon Taylor scored the only goal of the game in the 25th minute, but it was a wind-assisted cross that surprised everyone inside London Road.
Fabio Liverani’s team had chances to equalise with former O’s keeper Ben Alnwick denying both David Mooney and Jobi McAnuff after the break.

Orient substitute Dean Cox also fired off target from the edge of the area as the Brisbane Road outfit returned home pointless.

But Australian Cisak, who had his loan from Premier League club Burnley extended until the end of the season yesterday, insisted the least O’s deserved was a draw.

He said: “Obviously it was a bizarre goal to concede. It was going three or four-yards over the bar, but dipped back in.

“A point would have been the least we deserved, they didn’t create too much. We had a few chances second half, but we needed to test their goalkeeper a bit more to get something out of the match.
“The performance gives us a lot of faith because Peterborough are on a good run and they are near the play-offs.”
Although disappointed with the defeat, Cisak was happy to have his deal extended with O’s until the end of the campaign.
He has made seven appearances already under Liverani – keeping two clean sheets during that time.
And now he is focused on helping the club move away from the bottom four.
“I am enjoying my time here and want to keep playing games and help the club stay up this season,” added Cisak.
“When I first moved I wanted to do the month and see what happened and whether Leyton Orient were happy with me and Burnley were happy.
“I was hoping to play as many games as possible and it has gone really well.
“I want to be playing well and if I play well, the back four tends to play well, and that helps us keep clean sheets which will boost our chances of staying up this season.”
