Jacob Ranson provides player ratings from Leyton Orient’s 1-0 loss to Doncaster
Alex Cisak 6 – The Aussie had another solid display, as he made a few saves when was called upon, and there was nothing he could have done about the sole goal of the game.
Scott Cuthbert 7 – Man of the match for me as the Scot looked the most comfortable of the back four on the night. Won the majority of his battles on the right side and pulled off a few key last-ditch tackles.
Mathieu Baudry 6 – Cemented his place back in the team as he yet again looked fairly comfortable at the back winning plenty. Moves the ball forward well.
Nathan Clarke 6 – Booked in the opening minutes is never a good start, but managed to pick himself up and win challenges.
You may also want to watch:
Andrea Dossena 6 – Former Italian International attacked well in the first half causing a real push on the left. Should have scored early on with a golden chance.
Ryan Hedges 5 – Swansea youngster seems to drift into the middle too often and did not see as much of the ball to take defenders on. Welshman struggled to hold on to the ball and his decision-making seemed a bit off.

Josh Wright 6 – Midfielder did not have his best game, nor his worst. Worked hard, got into open space and almost scored another vital goal in the second half with a curler.
Marvin Bartley 6 – Could not have worked harder than he did in the centre, making every ball his and being a real strong defensive character. Struggled a little when the team pushed forward.
Jobi McAnuff 6 – Jamaican international worked his socks off and linked up well with Dossena, creating space. Not sure why he came off so early as his exit robbed O’s of natural width.
Chris Dagnall 5 – Normally a massive fan of the striker, but he struggled to get a foothold in the game against Doncaster’s big centre-backs. Not winning anything in the air, a few sloppy moments.
Darius Henderson 7- The big man started the game very positively and was the only one to really cause the opposition back four problems. The striker tired in the second half and starting losing aerial battles.
Subs:
Shane Lowry 6 – Seemed an odd sub to bring on for Dossena at left-back, but it was due to an injury. Nearly worked out brilliantly as he went close with a header.
Jay Simpson 6 – Former Arsenal striker came on and looked a threat when he was on the ball, although did not get involved too much. Would be nice to see him get a start to show his qualities.
David Mooney 5 – Other than a nice flick-on the Irishman did not add much to the attack. Looks a shadow of last season’s form and seemed a strange sub with three strikers already on the pitch.
