Leyton Orient have announced the signing of Crystal Palace winger Levi Lumeka on a season-long loan deal.
The 19-year-old, who made his professional debut for the Eagles last season in the 1-0 defeat to Burnley during Frank de Boer’s brief spell in charge, has joined the National League side to get more pitch time.
Lumeka, who turns 20 next week, has been the top scorer for Palace’s under-23 side in each of the last three seasons, scoring 13 goals in 25 appearances for Richard Shaw’s men last season as the young Eagles finished top of the Professional Development League southern division.
He joins the O’s squad on their trip to Chesterfield this weekend and will be keen to break his way into the first-team in the coming weeks.
