An action plan to tackle violence against women is to be launched at a conference next month.
The event will include speakers from the police, Tower Hamlets Council and community groups.
It follows the publication of the Tower Hamlets Violence Against Women and Girls Plan, which set out how victims of gender-based violence can receive support, and the work being done on the subject in the borough.
The conference is set to be open to interested residents, and will also provide an opportunity for people working in the field to gender violence to learn more about the action plan, which was first published in January.
It is to be held at the Osmani Centrein Vallance Road, Whitechapel on May 15, from 9.30am.
