A PASSER-BY felt intimidated by the large number of campaigners outside an East End polling station and reported his concerns to election authorities.
The man, who does not vote locally, said he felt he was mobbed by about eight people who wanted him to take election material.
He said there were about 40 or 50 people outside the polling station in Settles Street, "it was intimidating", he added.
There are 119 polling station in Tower Hamlets and presiding officers have the power to ask people to move on if they find too many have congregated nearby.
The polls close at 10pm tonight.
