WIDELY known as one of the UK's most innovative comic poets, John Hegley will perform at Toynbee Studios tomorrow (Thursday) evening.

Hegley's poetry is full of darkly comic encounters with domestic violence, familial betrayal, everyday absurdities, dogs, vegetables and epiphanies of one kind or another.

The performance starts at Toynbee Studios in Commercial Street at 7.30pm.
