Why should children have all the fun at this time of year?
Christmas shoppers in Dagenham took their animals along to meet Santa this weekend.
Pets at Home in Merrielands Retail Park, Dagenham, held the event to raise money for Hornchurch Animal Rescue and Romford Greyhounds.
Owners paid £2 to meet Santa, or £5 to have a photograph of him with their pet. All animals received a gift.
This is the second year that the event has been held.
