Singer-songwriter Pixie Lott came dressed as a pixie to cheer up children spending Christmas in the Royal London Hospital.
The actress popped in to hand out Christmas gifts to star-struck youngsters in the paediatric ward in Whitechapel.
Pixie, who arrived in her capacity as ambassador of the Rays of Sunshine Children’s Charity, was in the spirit with her special festive hat as she played one of Santa’s helpers.
“Christmas is such a special family time,” she said. “It must be so difficult for those in hospital. But it was inspiring meeting the children and bring a smile to their faces for Christmas.”
She managed to brighten up the day for 10 children, who are all currently having treatment as in-patients at the hospital.
