A PIZZA delivery rider was injured in a road crash at traffic lights on the A13 in East London during the night.
The moped rider, in his 20s, was in collision with a car along Commercial Road in Whitechapel, at the junction with Cannon Street Road, at 10pm.
He was taken by ambulance to the Royal London Hospital nearby with leg and pelvis injuries. The car-driver escaped injury.
A fire-crew was brought in to clear petrol and oil that had spilled across the road.
