GORDON Brown and some of his Cabinet ministers took a test ride on the Javelin express train (pictured with Tessa Jowell and Harriet Harman) from East London to St Pancras this-afternoon.
The Prime Minister was returning from East London after his Cabinet meeting away from Downing Street that was held at the 2012 Olympics site.
They boarded the train for the fast journey back to town from Stratford International station.
The Javelin train will whisk spectators to and from the Games in less than eight minutes when it’s in service by 2012.
