Police carried out a dawn operation today (Friday) to net burglary suspects in London’s East End.
They called at five addresses simultaneously at 6.30am on the Isle of Dogs to arrest those wanted for questioning—but only found two.
“These were not police raids,” one officer stressed. “No doors were busted or homes searched.
“We just called to take them in for questioning.”
The two men arrested were taken to Limehouse police station. They were later released on bail to return to an east London police station next month. Detectives still want to quiz the other three.
