Police are looking for a convicted burglar who has evaded parole conditions after being released from prison early.

They are seeking 30-year-old Shajon Manik from Poplar who was serving 18 months in Pentonville after being caught breaking into the basement of a house in Stepney Way, Stepney, with an accomplice last year.

He was released in January on condition he reported to Bethnal Green police station regularly—but has failed to turn up.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest. Police are appealing to anyone knowing his whereabouts to call 020-8217 3848, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555111.
